Creative Kids Family Child Care and Developmental Preschool

I, Diane La Pierre, Owner/Director of Creative Kids for 7 years; has live in the Raymond area for 40 years. Owned and operated a local, in home, dance studio for 13 years: instructing children and adults from age 2 1/2 to senior adult. I had the opportunity to provided dance programs through Raymond Recreation Association to extend the art of daycare to local children. I worked part time at a local Child Care Center, as a head teacher and assisted other classrooms. The experience gave me a great understanding of “early childhood“ and how to implement education in a child‘s daily routine.

As my two children grew, I followed my dream to work with children in my home, where they could feel safe, loved and free to explore. With my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, and ongoing professional development, I continues to work "hands on" with children; caring and teaching in my home to assist them in becoming strong, independent individuals, and life long learners.

I am back in school working toward my Bachelor Degree in Social and Behavioral Science.  I continue to teach Dance at a local Dance Studio, and works part time at a local Family Hair Salon, where I has for 22 years. My ongoing education will able me to assist more children and families when needed.
